Recording data to USB sticks
USB sticks can be recorded by us with individual data (catalog, pictures, etc.) without any problems. Your stick with individual data is a cost-effective alternative to a paper advertising brochure. A USB stick with data recording is more sustainable than a paper message, because when the customer removes the data, he will continue to use your USB stick with your advertising message. Paper, on the other hand, will end up in the trash after a short time. We also offer our customers to record each USB stick individually and treat your data strictly confidential. We load your data onto the USB memory stick we produce or you provide us with your USB stick and we record it afterwards. Send us the data with your order (or even a few days later) via email/FTP/download link or

Record data in Germany
You send us your USB sticks,1 of which should already be recorded with the desired data, the so-called master USB stick. We duplicate this to all other USB sticks, checking the USB stick again for correctness and readability. We sort out defective USB sticks accordingly.
Duration
The regular play time is from 3 working days per 5000 pieces (depending on data size and packing). Please be sure to notify us of upcoming play-by-play orders in a timely manner. Express productions (same day) by arrangement. Regular and smaller sample batches usually require one, max. two working days.
You send us your own USB sticks and we transfer your data to your storage media.
The data is then compared (verified) with the original. Defective media are detected, sorted out and packed separately.
Production flow
1. you announce your order in advance.

3. we unpack each and every USB stick.
4. we subject 2 to 3 USB sticks to a short function test.
5. you send us your copy data online or by mail.
6. we create a master USB stick if necessary.
7. you give us the approval on the basis of a test file or data sample.
8. we copy and check the sticks.
9. we assemble and pack the sticks.
10. shipping to you or directly to your customer.
Have confidential data recorded in Germany
Do you have confidential and very important data that needs to be written to a USB stick? We are happy to offer you this special service. You send us your USB sticks,1 of which should already be recorded with the desired data, the so-called master USB stick. (not via Dropbox, wetransfer or any other public service). We duplicate this to all other USB sticks, checking the USB stick again for correctness and readability. We sort out defective USB sticks accordingly. We do not copy your data locally to a computer, nor do we create a master USB stick. Your data has no contact with our network and/or is stored by us locally on computers. On the day of the recording, a responsible person is appointed who is responsible for the recording and the master USB stick. This person tracks the recording all the way to shipping. This allows us to guarantee a seamless process on our part. We will also be happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement on your part.

Two partitions are created in the USB stick. A partition is created as a READ-only drive. This drive has the same function as a CD or DVD, which is also protected under a formation. The remaining free memory is formatted as a Write & Read drive. The user can freely dispose of this second partition and save, delete and, if necessary, format his personal data.
Please note that we record USB sticks with data ex works and partition them directly. Subsequent partitioning in Germany is not possible.
With the drive labeling you can set in advance how the USB sticks should be displayed on the PC as a name. This way, even when using multiple sticks, the customer knows exactly which one is yours. Please note that you only have 11 characters at your disposal. The length results from old naming convention in DOS times: 8+3=11 characters. The only special character allowed is an underscore “_”.
Recommendation
The file names / naming must not contain special characters, special characters are all letters and characters beyond the 26 basic letters of the Latin alphabet. This refers to symbols (§ / # $ % [ } + @ € …) as well as to additional letters (ð ? ? þ …), ligatures of two letters (& ß æ œ …) and especially to letters with so-called diacritical marks (ü á ô è ñ å ç ø š ? ? ? ? …). Please note that the data must be multilingual!
