It replaces the previously valid Packaging Ordinance and has far-reaching effects on the obligation to report and the settlement of contributions to the dual system. Both distributors and importers who work with packaging are affected.<\/p>\n<p>Short version:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A new packaging law came into force on Jan. 1, 2019.
