Is there color fidelity? Print – to my supplied data

When you have your products printed by us, you naturally expect the colors to look exactly the same when printed as they do in your data.
But 100% color fidelity is not possible at all, as we will show you below.

Why is 100% color fidelity impossible?

100% color fidelity is not possible because printing is a mechanical process that is subject to many external influences – such as climatic conditions. The printing substrate (material) and the inks used are also already produced with certain tolerances and thus influence the final result. Furthermore, many different devices and software systems are involved in the printing process, which are usually set differently and thus then use different color models as well as color spaces. This starts with your on-site light source, continues with CMYK and RGB, the monitor used and the software used during data creation, and ends with our internal color and printing systems.

Are there any color differences in reorders?

In the case of identical repeat orders, color deviations from the previous series are possible due to printing technology and material and are not grounds for complaint. Even within a series slight color deviations are possible and to be tolerated.
