amfori BSCI

The amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative [amfori BSCI, founded in 2003 as the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI)] is a program of the business-related association amfori to improve social standards in a global value chain. The Brussels-based organization offers business enterprises the adoption or adherence to a code of conduct, as well as a systematic monitoring and qualification system.

Code of Conduct

BSCI offers companies a code of conduct that supports them in their efforts to build an ethical supply chain. This Code is based on international treaties protecting workers’ rights, addressing the following eleven key elements: Management Practices, No Questionable Employment, Working Hours, Compensation, Child Labor, Forced Labor (including prison labor and coercion), Freedom of Association (including freedom of organization and collective bargaining), Discrimination (gender, race, religion), Working Conditions, Health and Welfare Facilities, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Environmental Aspects, and Special Protection of Young Employees. In January 2014, BSCI introduced a new Code of Conduct that actively involves all trading partners in the process of complying with social standards.

By signing the BSCI Code of Conduct, companies undertake to recognize social criteria in their sphere of influence that form the basis of this Code of Conduct and to implement and comply with appropriate measures as part of their corporate policy.

USB sticks from BSCI certified manufacturers

HIKITEC GMBH supplies USB flash drives and electronic promotional gifts. These are available in different models and colors. Our various products with large advertising space are optimal for attaching a logo or company logo.

We purchase our goods from trading partners, manufacturers or factories with whom we maintain long-term business relationships. This also includes influencing these companies with our standards. Not all partners have undergone the BSCI audit. This can have many reasons. However, if we encounter working conditions that are unacceptable, we would discontinue business relations or press for an improvement.

If you, as our customer, wish to be assured that the products come exclusively from BSCI certified companies, please indicate this to us in your inquiry. In this case, we would also select only BSCI certified manufacturers for your products.
